CHURCH READERS: The following are the readers at masses this weekend, Eamonn O’ Riordan the 7pm on Saturday evening, and Pat O’ Dwyer at the 10am on Sunday morning.
NEWSLETTER: The November edition of the parish newsletter was available last weekend, thanks again to the national school children.
CHRISTMAS FAIR: The School Parents Association have organized a Christmas Fair in the Community Centre on Sunday December 15th, the centre will be open after the 10am mass and events continue up to 2pm, lots of fun for all the family. Next year’s calendars, holly wreaths and Yule logs will be available at the various stalls, support would be appreciated.
SCHOOL CONCERT: The Annual National School Christmas Concert takes place in the Community Centre on Thursday and Friday nights, the Thursday night show starts at 6.30 pm and on Friday there is a 7pm start, dates 5th and 6th December. Seats should be booked in advance, telephone school 063-91 411.
PARTY: A reminder that the Senior Citizens Christmas party takes place in the Greenwood Inn on Sunday 15th December at 2pm.
WALKS: Ballyhoura Bears walking club have a 6 hour “A” walk over the Far Beaga loop on this Sunday December 8th, meet Cush car park at 10am, contact Joan Neil 087-314 9215.
The “B” walk on Sunday starts from Rossadrehid at 11am, walk to Lake Muskry on the Galtys, contact 085-143 3875.
Thursday night walks for the month of December starts from Darragh at 7.30.
The Saturday “C” walk starts from the Community Centre, Ardpatrick at 11am.
