SOCCER: Our U11s hosted Kilbeheny on a beautifully sunny Saturday morning. We started slowly and soon Kilbeheny took the lead but we equalised from a well take free kick by Jake O Riordan. Stephen Power made some excellent saves in goal before Kilbeheny re took the lead with a well taken goal. Once again we replied with Jake O’Riordan taking on the entire defence a shooting low to the keepers left. Just before the break Kilbeheny made it 3-2. Jake Leamy McNamara and Ryan Hanley made their debuts after the break as we pushed hard for another equaliser which did on come as Kilbeheny made it 4-2 with the last kick of the game, well done to both teams.
