COMMUNITY ALERT: following a meeting on the 1st May it has been decided to set up a text alert system in the Kilteely/Dromkeen area. The purpose is to give people in the community the opportunity to be actively involved I reducing the risk of theft and burglaries in the locality and particularly protecting our elderly neighbours. It allows the Gardai to issue text alerts to any members of the community who have registered on the system. If you are interested in being involved registration forms and information leaflets are available at Dromkeen post office, Aherns shop in Kilterly ot contact Larry O Grady at 086 8604099 or Mike O Connell at 087 9481557.

THE RAMBLING HOUSE: The Final Rambling House before the Summer break will take place at The Teach on Friday May 10th, from 9 to 11pm. This will be a Children’s Rambling House, as promised, and all are welcome. Beginners, improvers and accomplished performers most welcome .Children must be accompanied by adults.

CHIROPODIST: The chiropodist will visit Cill Bhride on Monday 13th of May. Booking as usual to avoid delay or you can phone 061 384171.

COMMUNITY GAMES: Preparations are well underway for our Sportsday which will be held in the new Field, Knockane on Sunday June 2nd. This event is open to all children from both within and outside our Area.The programme will include many fun events. The full programme will be available shortly.

As we have nine children going to Athlone representing Limerick in the National Finals in late May we are holding a Cake Sale on Sunday May 19 in Cill Bhride at 11.30am. We would very much appreciate if you could help us in any way by donating cakes or supporting us on the day.
