Church gate collection: Sr Consilio Fitzgerald of Cuan Mhuire, Bruree House will be holding her annual church gate collection in Askeaton and Ballysteen this weekend. Any support will be very much appreciated in these hard times.

Rosary: During the month of May, the Rosary will be recited every evening at 7.15 at the Shrine, St Mary’s Terrace.

Cul Camp: the annual Cul Camp will be held Monday, August 12 to 16. The Cul Camp is for children age 6 to 13 and will help children learn GAA skills in a fun child-friendly environment. Places can be booked online at www.kelloggsculcamp.ie.

Daffodil day: We would like to thank everyone who supported Daffodil Day which was held at the SuperValu in Askeaton on March 22. They raised €2,100.

Congratulations: a big congulations to all the boys and girls from Askeaton NS who received their First Holy Communion in St Mary’s Church last Saturday.


Coláiste Mhuire: TY Musical: Rehearsals continue for the TY Musical Momma Mia Here we go again .... The show which is directed by Miriam Ball will take place in the Community Centre, Askeaton on Thursday, 23rd and Friday, 24th May at 8:00 p.m. Adult €12 Child/Student/Senior Citizen €8 Family Deal (2 Adults & 2 Children) €35. Tickets can be purchased at the school office or from TY students.

Colaiste Mhuire Bingo Night: To help fundraise for the TY Musical a Bingo Night will be held on Monday, 13th May in the Community Centre, Askeaton at 8:30 p.m. Your support would be much appreciated.
