The field and weather conditions were ideal for Camogie, and the Adare girls showed great ground striking skills in all their games. In the first Match, Adare played a very skilful Team from Na Piarsaigh, and our forwards were looking very sharp in the earlier encounters with Adare winning by 4 goals to 2. This was followed by a drawn match with a strong Kilmallock team, where every member of the Adare team had to work very hard, especially our midfield and defence and goal-keepers. The final match was against Bruff and despite feeling tired from their earlier games all the Adare Girls continued to fight hard for every ball and winning by 4 goals. All had a most enjoyable day. A Big Thanks to all the Mums and Dads who travelled to support the Team. A special thanks to Sophie O’Callaghan for refereeing all 3 games.
