Church Door Collection: On this weekend May 11th and 12th, the students for Priesthood Church door envelope collection will be taking place in Castlemahon and Feohanagh. Your generous support will be much appriciated.
Seven Steps: The next seven steps meeting will be held in the sacristy Castlemahon May 13th at 7.00pm, all interested in taking part are welcome to attend.
First Holy Communion: On Saturday morning next May 11th, the children from 2nd class at Mahoonagh N.S will receive their 1st holy communion in St. Mary’s Church Feohanagh at 11am mass. Following the 11.00am Mass all the children and their parents and family’s are invited to Coolyroe Hall for refreshments courtesy of the ladies committee.
May Fair Meeting: In preparation for the Coolyroe may fair a meeting of helpers from the Feohanagh Castlemahon parish will be held in Coolyroe Hall, Tuesday night May 14th at 8.00pm. as in previous years your co-operation and Voluntary assistants will be much appreciated for the success of the May Fair which will take place in Coolyroe on Sunday May 26th at 1.00pm and all are very welcome to attend the meeting.
I.C.A: The guest speaker at the last meeting was Ann Marie Dennison, Former National President who gave a detailed account of her activities while she was President. she is a great ambassador for both the ICA and Ireland the next meeting will take place on Monday May 13th, the competition on the night is for the nicest hair accessory. A meal out is scheduled for May 20th and a Visit to a garden centre May 29th.
Pastoral Area Pilgrimage to Knock: This years Pastoral Area pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Sunday June 9th. The seven parishes are Newcastle West, Ardagh/ Carrigkerry, Mahoonagh, Monagea, Killeedy, Feenagh/Kilmeedy, and Drom/ Broadford. Bus fare is €16 and all interested should give their name to Fr John Duggan P.P
