“BALLYBROWN CHOIR”: Practice for the choir will run every Tuesday night at 8pm up to Easter in Ballybrown Church. The choir performs each year at Christmas and Easter and practice is held once a week for a small number of weeks beforehand. New members are needed for the continuation of this choir which has been highly commended over the years. Anyone interested should come along next Tuesday night at 8pm.

WILL MAKING AND ESTATE PLANNING INFORMATION DAY: MPCC Credit Union has joined forces with Dorothy Tynan & Co. Solicitors to announce a Will Making & Estate Planning information day for Credit Union members. This free consultation service will take place on Friday, March 8 in the Credit Union’s Dooradoyle office and all members are invited to attend.

KNOCKFIERNA RAMBLING HOUSE: The very popular Knockfierna Rambling House will hold a special night of storytelling, music, singing etc at Kilfinny Community hall on Friday March 1, at 8pm. So mark your diary for what promises to be a wonderful nights entertainment. There is no admission fee. All are welcome.

THE WITNESS: A musical by Carol & Jimmy Owens. The Witness is the story of Jesus, told and sung by Peter and the other men and women who knew the Master best. Featuring a great cast and coordinated by Fr. Terry Loughran. “The Witness” a musical, will be presented by the Diocese of Limerick, in the Lime Tree Theatre, Mary Immaculate College, on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9 at 8pm. This production which is being staged just before Easter is an ideal opportunity for parishes, youth groups, as well as individuals to participate in a meaningful and relevant way in the Year of Faith and to enter into the spirit of the season of preparation for the events of Holy Week.
