The Allen’s Group will celebrate its new store opening on William Street with entertainment, give-aways and special offers from 2 to 4pm next Saturday, October 29.

Allens specialises in kitchenware, giftware and home accessories and will bring a new offer and range of brands to Limerick.

With strong family connections to Limerick, the Allen’s family have wanted to open in Limerick city for many years and 68 William Street proved an ideal location for the Group’s new store.

“With family in Limerick as well as Kerry and Cork, we are very excited and proud to be opening our new store, our first in Munster, on William Street. With recent upgrades to William Street and extensive plans for urban regeneration underway, it is a very exciting time to invest and open a new store in Limerick. We look forward to welcoming people from across the region to our opening event” says Mark Allen of the Allen’s Group.

The Allen’s Group was originally founded in Kilkenny by Patrick and Mary Allen in 1948. Now managed by its third generation, the group opened stores in Carlow in 1980 and Athlone in 2004. The group has created five new management and sales positions in the Limerick shop.

Some of the brands stocked in the store include Waterford Crystal, Le Creuset, Meyer/Prestige, Sugarcraft, Denby and Newbridge Silverware. Allen’s Limerick will also soon launch its own range of premium Egyptian Cotton bed linen, called ‘Bedroom Bliss’.
