THE GLAMOUR was out of this world for the Pallas Foods Irish Hotels Federation Mid-West Tourism Ball which took place in the fabulous Greenhills hotel in Limerick.

My husband Ger and I attended the event which kicked off with a Prosecco cocktail reception in the beautiful gardens of the hotel, which recently won the wedding garden of the year award. The reason for this annual event is to raise much needed funds to promote the region, whether that’s supporting Shannon Airport or local events. There was a special recognition award on the night which went to the very stylish Rose Hynes of Shannon Airport for her contribution to tourism service. It was a fantastic night for all 490 guests and I would like to extend a big congratulations to the Greenhills hotel and everyone involved.

A SPARKLING event featuring everything the stylish lady or gent needs for their summer wardrobe was hosted by the Crescent Shopping Centre.

The Summer Style Sessions which coincides with the introduction of the centre’s fantastic new personal shopper service was a three-day event with fashion and style tips, hair and make-up demonstrations, a designer showcase and everything you need to know to look your stylish best over the summer months. The fabulous staging that was created especially for the shows added to the ambience and atmosphere.
