600 MILE 1 WAY CYCLE: A Fundraiser in aid of children with special needs travelling to Lourdes will be held in Sully’s Bar Hospital on Friday November 22. Raffle on the night, Music provided by Handipak, Nightfall, Reverse the Hearse and Tom Slattery with Amber.

COAL FUND: The Community Council annual church gate coal fund will be held on 16th/17th November. Support appreciated.

POKER CLASSIC: The Soccer Club are holding a Poker Classic in O’Neill’s Bar on December 6 at 9pm.

TIDY TOWNS: Hospital Tidy Town’s are a fundraising social night in Scoby’s Bar on December 7. Raffle and music on the night.

BEREAVEMENT: Our sympathies to the family of Liam Fitzpatrick who died following a tragic accident last Sunday.

GAA: The club extend sympathy to the Ryan family, Oldtown on their recent sad loss. Indoor hurling on Thursdays in John the Baptist Community School gym. U7s are in the gym from 6 – 7, U8s to U11s in gym from 7 – 8, all welcome to attend/

BORD NA NOG: Are holding their AGM in the club house in Hospital Friday 29 November at 7.30pm. Any nominations or motions for the AGM to be with Bord na nOg secretary by Friday November 15. The AGM is open to all parents and others who wish to attend the last meeting of their busy year. Hopefully everyone can attend this end of year round up and participate in discussion on next years activities and direction.

SENIOR BOARD AGM: This AGM takes place December 5. All nominations and motions can be sent to the secretary no later than Thursday 14 November. Your impute is welcomed.

GEAR: Anyone player looking for club jersey’s, Hurley’s, helmets etc, should contact any club coach to order.

FITNESS: Fitness classes continue in the old secondary school gym every Friday from 7 to 8pm. Contact John Penny at 087/9115411.

HANDBALL: The AGM of Hospital Handball Club was held last week. The following have been elected chairperson, JP ‘O’Connor, secretary Michael O’Toole, treasurer John Ryan, PRO, Betty Herr.
