Seven Steps: The next seven steps meeting will be held in Castlemahon sacristy on Monday 18th Nov at 7.30pm. All interested in taking part are welcome to attend.
€2,000 card drive in Raheenagh: An attractive €2,000 45 card drive will take place in Raheenagh community centre on Tuesday night 19th Nov at 9.00pm admission is €10 and refreshments will be served. All card lovers are welcome to enjoy a good night out with their friends in the comfortable well heated Raheenagh hall. please note that car park will be supervised for the occasion.
West Limerick Scór na nÓg final: On Sunday Nov 24th the West Limerick Scór na nÓg finals will take place in Ardagh Hall at 2.30pm. Feohanagh Castlemahon will be taking part in the suitable categories.
Kilmeedy rambling house: Following a most enjoyable opening night’s session in October organiser and MC Seán invites all his supporters and friends to another entertaining night at Aras Íde on Friday night 15th Nov at 8.30pm. Sean has already lined up some great talent for the November session so all can look forward to another lively night of good music singing story telling and with plenty of good humour.
WLCR102 Fundraising Céilí: A fundraising Céilí night in aid of our local not for profit community radio station WLCR102 will take place in Knockaderry community centre at 9.30pm with music on the night by Donie Nolan. Teas and coffee will be be served and a raffle will also take place on the night with spot prizes galore. All are welcome to attend this fundraising event.
Launch of Mahoonagh Parish Annual 2013: on Friday Nov 15th. With only 5 weeks to Christmas and with much thanks and appreciation to all our subscribers, the 33rd edition will be launched on Friday night next Nov 15th at 8.30pm in the parish hall Castlemahon. We are delighted and very pleased to welcome popular Dromcollogher Priest Fr Michael Wall, Chaplin and lecturer at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick to launch the journal. This years book is dedicated to the memory of 3 outstanding members of the History group, Margaret Doody Scully, May O’Connor and Paddy Roche and also to Fr John McSweeney author of the book Call me David and who were all called to their eternal reward during the year. Before the launch on Friday night a memorial mass for deceased members will be celebrated by Fr John Duggan P.P in Castlemahon Church at 7.30pm. All contributors and all interested are very welcome to attend the memorial mass and also the launch afterwards in the hall at 8.30pm.
I.C.A: The guild held a meeting on November 14th. Four members will attend the federation table quiz on Monday Nov 18th so our next meeting is postponed on Nov 18th to November 25th, we are hoping to have a guest. It will be an open meeting further details next week.

The competition on November 25th is for the nicest shoe, High heel, low heel or whatever. The hostesses will be Mary Phillips and Joan Mullane. Ann Marie O’Brien and Mary Phillips attended the knitting and stitching show in the RDS Dublin. They gave us information about it, they showed some items that they made while there.

Perhaps members might help on November 15th with the catering for the launch of the parish annual on that night at 8.30pm. There will be a mass at 7.30pm in Castlemahon church prior to the launch to honor Margaret Doody Scully, Paddy Roche and our own loyal member May O’Connor who passed away this year.
Charity Christmas Lights: The annual switching on of the charity lights at Tony Noonan’s Templeglantine will take place on Friday November 22nd at 7.00pm. It is free for everyone and as usual any donations will go to local charities. Tony and his family invite everyone to come along and get into the Christmas spirit.
