Milford Hospice Coffee Evening: This year it will be held on Thursday 26th September. As in previous years, Cappamore Bingo committee will hold a Special €3,000 Bingo on the same night. All proceeds will go to Milford Hospice. NOTE: Change of date – 26th September

95 Stop Tour: Live 95 FM’s “95 Stop Tour” takes place again this September, to raise much needed funds for Limerick children’s charities - The CARI Foundation and the “Ark Unit” at Limerick University Hospital. Mulcair Arts Network: Theatre Classes given by the Professional Theatre group, Bottom Dog Theatre Group are being organised in Cappamore Community Centre on Friday nights for the next 8 weeks, starting on Friday 6th September. These classes are for 13 – 18 year olds.This is an excellent opportunity to develop your acting skills under the tutelage of professional actors. It costs just €4 per week. It is being heavily subsidised by the Mulcair Arts Network.

Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann: Murroe/Cappamore Comhaltas will hold a Registration night for Traditional Music & Singing classes on Tuesday 10th September from 5 – 6 p.m. in Scoil Chaitríona, Cappamore(Convent Primary School). Classes will then resume on Tuesday 17th September at 5 – 6 p.m.at Scoil Chaitríona. Tuition will be provided by top class tutors on all traditional instruments including Button& Piano Accordion, Fiddle, Banjo, Guitar, Concertina, Flute and Tin Whistle. Rose of Tralee: Congratulations to Conor Walsh, Farnane who was chosen as one of the Rose of Tralee escorts this year after a very intensive and strenuous selection process. He was missed on Show Day in Cappamore this year where he is one of the very active young members. Conor was the escort of the Monaghan Rose.
