Sean Treacys GAA: Minor West final : After an exciting tussle against Lattin Cullen Gaels in the west minor B hurling final we clawed back a deficit of 7 points to emerge victorious. Lattin had the better of the opening exchanges with their forwards clinical with their chances however 2 quick-fire goals before the break changed the game and we went on to dominate the second half and deservedly collect the cup on a scoreline of 4-12 to 1-14.

West Intermediate hurling final: We play Arravale Rovers in the west final on Saturday 7th September in Annacarty at 6pm.

Tipperary Intermediate All-Ireland Win: Congratulations to Denis Stapleton and the Tipperary intermediates on victory in the All-Ireland final against Kilkenny.

Intercounty underage reps: Congratulations to Michael Feehan & Aaron Ryan on representing Tipperary U14’s, to Shane Stapleton Tipperary U15 winner in the Carrigdhoun tournament, to Patrick Carey Tipperary U15 and Brian Carey & Patrick Deegan in representing Tipperary at U16 level.

Sean Treacys Juvenile Gaa: Congratulation to six of our Juvenile Club players for representing Tipperary in last weekend’s various tournaments around Munster. Pride of place goes to Shane Stapleton goalkeeper on Tipp’s U.15 (A) victorious Carrigdhoun team. Also on duty were Michael Feehan (A) and Aaron Ryan (B) with Tipp’s U.14s, Patrick Carey Tipp U.15(B) team and Brian Carey U.16 (A) and Patrick Deegan (B). This caps off a great few weeks for our club and can only benefit our club for future years. We would also like to congratulate Denis Stapleton on being a part of Tipp’s victorious Intermediate Winning squad in Nowlan Pk. Denis has been one of our new young coaches for the last few years. Our U12s also played there plate final last weekend against Lattin- Cullen when the narrowly lost by a single point with the final score 1-9 to 3-2 a big thank you to all our U12 players, coaches and selectors for their commitment and dedication throughout the year.U8s also enjoyed a hurling blitz by invitation from Clonoulty juvenile club last weekend when up to twenty of our young players travelled for the occasion. We wish Emmet Ryan a speedy recovery following a recent operation and look forward to soon seeing him back on the field of play.
