ADARE TO SURVIVE WITH CLIONA’S FOUNDATION: Adare to Survive is a 7.5km military style obstacle course taking place in Clonshire Equestrian Centre, Adare, Co Limerick on Sunday September 29. THE SAMARITANS: are holding an Information Evening on Monday, 9th September, 2013 at 7.30 p.m. at their centre at 20, Barrington Street, Limerick. The organisation offers emotional support to callers who feel worried, distressed, can’t cope or who may be suicidal. Milford Hospice Fundraiser: Following a recent meeting in Meanus to organise a fundraising event in the Parish for Milford Hospice, Saturday September 21 has been pencilled in as our day. A five hour ‘Hurlaton’ will be held in the local GAA field where all past and present hurlers of Camogue Rovers and indeed neighbouring clubs are invited to “Hurl for Milford” at some stage between 12 noon and 5 p.m., whether your fitness levels will last five minutes or five hours all are asked to take part and donate to Milford Hospice. At 5p.m. a “Parish Walk for Milford” will begin around the walking track when every parishioner will be asked to turn out in support of the great work being done by Milford Hospice. BORD NA NOG NOTES: Our u12 hurlers had a fine win against Monaleen to round off a good campaign. End of season hurling blitz will take place in Rathkeale on Sat 7th, times to be confirmed. The U16 hurlers have qualified for the shield semi-final and play Kildimo/Pallaskennry on Wed 11th in Bruff, throw-in 6:30pm. Congratulations to the players who made the various Limerick panels last weekend. Well done on this fantastic achievement U16 Kyle Dillon, U15 Sean O Riordan & John Bulfin and U14 Paul O Riordan & John Bateman.
