County Senior Football League: Oola 3-11 v Hospital 1-8
Oola had a good win over Hospital Herbertstown in the County Senior Football League in Hospital on Saturday night. Hospital raced into an early 2 point lead but Derek Ryan settled things down when he dispatched a penalty after 8 minutes. Further points from Keith Bourke, Daniel Quirke and Derek Ryan and an Eddie Kiely goal gave Oola a 2-5 to 0-4 halftime lead. Early second half points from Denis Moloney, Kevin Nolan and Raymond Ryan had Oola in the driving seat but Hospital Herbertstown responded well with some well taken points and a great goal before a Daniel Quirke goal and points from Derek Nolan and Kevin Nolan completed the scoring.

Oola U14 Football: Oola 1-15 Galbally 0-1
The Under 14s had an impressive win over Galbally in the B Peil na nÓg played in Oola last Tuesday evening. In a very sporting contest Oola were quick of the blocks and built up a lead they never looked like losing. A good all round team performance with every player and subs playing their part.
Team lined out as follows: C. Bourke, P. Ryan, W O Mahony, D Bulter, D O Grady, G Halligan, C Hallissey, M O Brien, C Ryan, J O Brien, J Downey, I O Dwyer, O Doyle, P Quinlan and C O Donovan.
At the time of writing they are due to play the final on the weekend of the 28th April against a very strong Old Christians side. Details will be available for next weeks notes.
Oola Ladies: Results: Oola u16 girls lost to St.Ailbes 3-11 to 2- 2.
Oola u14 girls had a great game against St.Ailbes. Oola came out winners 6-6 to 4-10.
U12 girls beat Knockainey 7-7 to 2-1.
Intermediates had a good match against Mungret last Saturday evening in Mungret and they were unlucky to come lose the game score on the night was 2-10 to 2-1
