U-12 HURLING: The U-12 hurlers played their first game of 2013 at home to Knockainey last Thursday evening and lost on a scoreline of 7-0 to 0-3. The team played well on the night and were unlucky to concede a number of goals in the game which made the margin of defeat look worse than the balance of play throughout the game. Jack Franklin was our star performer on the night scoring all three points. The team tried hard and with a little luck would have had a few goals of their own but for some near misses and good goal keeping from the Knockainey number one.
