Diocesan Needs: On this weekend, April 20th/21st the Diocesan needs Church door collection will be taken place in Castlemahon and Feohanagh Church. Your support as always will be greatly appreciated.

Pastoral Area Pilgrimage to Knock: This years pastoral area pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Sunday June 9th. The seven Parishes are Newcastle West, Ardagh- Carrigkerry, Mahoonagh, Monagea, Kileedy, Drom- Broadford, and Feenagh- Kilmeedy. Bus fare is €16 and all interested should give their names to Fr. Duggan P.P at your Convenience.

Sympathy: Sincere sympathy to Jean and Donal Nash and family, Clounsherick, Newcastle West, on the death of Jean’s Mother, Kathleen Blake, May she rest in Peace.

Sympathy also to Kathleen Taylor and Family,Mahoonagh Castlemahon, on the death of Kathleen’s sisters, Nora Garvey, Ballincollig Cork, and Vourneen Heffernan, Castlemaine Co. Kerry. May they Rest in Peace.

Parish Mission: April 20th-26th: Commencing on Saturday night next, April 20th the Feohanagh Castlemahon Parish Mission will continue during the week under the following times and arrangements and come to an end on Friday night April 26th. All in the Parish and outside the Parish are warmly welcome and invited to attend during the week as follows:

Saturday April 20th: 7.30pm Mass in Castlemahon Church with the Blessing of babies and school children.

Sunday April 21st: 11.00am Mass in Feohanagh church with the Blessing of Babies and School Children.

Monday 22nd - Friday 26th: Morning Mass in each church at 7.00am and 10am.

Evening Mass in Feohanagh Church at 7.00pm.

Evening Mass in Castlemahon Church at 8.30pm.

Topics: Sunday April 21st- Renewing the Church.

Monday April 22nd- Faith and Hope in Tough Times.

Tuesday April 23rd- Prayer: Deeping out relationship with Jesus.

Wednesday April 24th- God’s Mercy Repentance and Reconciliation.

Thursday April 25th- cherishing home and family

Friday April 26th- celebration of community life and mission will close on that Friday night.

The parish mission will be led during the week by Fr. Seamus Enright CSSR and Fr. Derek Meskell CSSR and with much thanks also to all who will be helping out with the ceremonies during the week. The school will be visited and the sick and the elderly will also b visited by the missioners Looking forward to good attendance for a week of renewal of faith as it has been four years since the last parish mission was held.
