Collection: there was a very good response to the postponed christmas st. vincent de paul collection which was held at the masses over the weekend. A special word of thanks to the many people who contributed and to Fr Breen PP for his assistance.

deaths: the death of Nancy Riordan late of Cullane, Ballylanders took place in London.She is sadly missed by her brother Rodger, sisters, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

The death has also occurred of Peggy Lyme (nee Lynch) Killarney and Knockadea, Ballylanders recently. Her husband the late Jackie Lyme was a well known captain and played with many well known Kerry football teams.Peggie was niece of the late General Liam Lynch who was the leader of the Republican forces during the Civil War. Her death is regretted by her sister Lizzie Dunphy, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Catherine O’Donovan (nee Hoare) Cork and late of Ballyfaskin, Ballylanders. Deeply regretted by her family, brothers Michael and Gerry, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

keeping fit: walking to keep fit takes place every monday morning each week from 10.30am to 11.30am in the day care centre. All are welcome.
