Dún Bleisce Historical & Literary Society: will hold their Annual General Meeting on Mon. 4th Feb. @ 8pm, in Doon Community Centre. All are welcome.

Pioneer Association: Sunday next Feb. 10th is Temperance Sunday. Pioneer Council will hold its monthly meeting after vigil Mass on Sat. 23rd Feb. Any pioneer wishing to join is very welcome. Annual pioneer dinner dance will be held on Fri. 15th Feb. after 8pm Mass in Caherconlish.

St. Joseph’s Young Priest Society: come & spend an hour in prayer & adoration with Rev. Fr. Gerard Hennessy, Spiritual Director of the Society on Sun. 3rd Feb. @ 3pm in the Marian Hall, St. Michaels St., Tipperary.

Bake Sale: As part of their President Gaisce Award 2 students from St. Fintan’s CBS are holding a bake sale on Sun. 10th Feb at 11am in Doon Pastoral Centre. All proceeds are being donated to the services of An Clos Grianach which is located in The Forts, Doon. Contribution of cakes would be greatly appreciated.

Doon GAA: Lotto-28th Jan. no’s drawn 6-17-23-24, no winner. Next week’s draw will be held in Kelly’s Bar, jackpot €6,600. Presentation of County Minor Medal: will take place on Sat. 9th Feb in Doon Community Centre @ 7:30pm, all are welcome. 125th Year Commemorative Calendar: last few now available at a cost of €5, and is available in Doon Shops or from Patricia Murphy (086) 8338898. Limerick Development Draw: is a very important part of the Clubs fundraising each year.
