ONCE again I was privileged to be part of the Oxendales adverts for the upcoming Downton Abbey series that will air on TV3 in September.

The adverts were filmed in Tinakilly Country House Hotel and Gardens. The beautiful elegant house reflected the Victorian era to perfection. The bedrooms have the most breathtaking views of the Irish Sea. Limerick beauty Leanne Moore joined me on set to play the part of my niece and she really did look the part. Leanne will be back in Limerick for the Christmas panto which I and all my grandchildren are all looking forward to in the UL Concert Hall. The creative genius that is Stephen O’Driscoll from Marbles Hair Salon - which is part of the Hugh Campbell Hair Group - designed the wonderful hair styles on the shoot and it really added to the glamour of the stings. The crew of TV3 were most impressed that both leading ladies were from Limerick and I am very proud of that!

I WAS in Brown Thomas Cork last Saturday for MaxMara workshops. The collection this autumn winter from MaxMara is absolutely fabulous. We had a great day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the looks from MaxMara. A date for your diary is Saturday, September 19, when I will be in Brown Thomas Limerick along with models from the Holman Lee Agency showcasing MaxMara AW collections. If you’re looking for a really super coat this season then don’t miss this
workshop!
