Pallaskenry AFC: regret to announce that once again over the weekend the gate locks were vandalised. This is a very disturbing development as it endangers the safety of all concerned denying access in an emergency situation. If these mindless person/persons are caught we will not hesitate to prosecute.

Bosco Tea Party: The Salesian Secondary school Parents Association is organising a Bosco Tea Party at the school hall on Friday 11th October at 8pm. A table of 8 costs €100. Entertainment is by Mad Hatters and DJ Nash. A great night of fun and dancing is guaranteed. The theme is The Roaring Twenties so this is a chance to dust down the flapper dress and head piece or cloche hat, bobbed hair and perfect the Charleston. Sale of Work: The annual sale of work takes place in the community centre on Sunday 13th October at 2.30pm. This is the only fundraiser organised by the community council to maintain and pay running costs of the community centre. Tickets for valuable raffle prizes are available in the local shops or from community council members. Items for sale can be brought to community centre on morning of sale or given to any community council member.

Recent Wedding : Congratulations to Morgan O Sullivan, Castletown and Helena McCarthy who were married during the week.

Baby Boom: The baby boom has hit Pallas again. Congratulations to Keith & Collette Fitzgerald on the birth of a bouncing eight and a half pound baby boy, brother for Ryan.

Congratulations also to Colm Lenihan and Aileen Deloughrey on the birth of a beautiful baby girl, Mia.
