PADRE PIO DEVOTIONS: will take place on Friday October 4th in Knockainey Parish Church, at 7pm with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Rosary, Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Confessions and First Friday Mass at 7.30pm.
KNOCKAINEY LADIES CLUB: will resume on Monday October 7th after the summer break with a night of music, song and dance, home baked refreshments and raffle. All are welcome to come along at 8pm in Knockainey Community Centre. The Club are pleased to announce for their next meeting on Monday October 21st renowned chef Carole Dollery form TV series “The Restaurant”, will do a cookery demonstration. This will surely be a night not to be missed.

LOUGH GUR FUN HORSE/PONY RIDE: takes place on Saturday 12th October in Lough Gur with all proceeds going to local charities.. KNOCKAINEY AFC: Congratulations to ex Knockainey AFC player Johnny Tierney in making the Irish Squad for the upcoming Quadrangular Tournament to be held in Limerick. Johnny who now plays with Pike Rovers is joined in the 20 man panel by fellow Limerick players Shane Waters and Shane Clarke from Jamesboro. Republic of Ireland is in a group of Northern Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man.
