First Friday: Friday next October 4th is the first Friday of the month and mass will be held in Castlemahon Church at 9.00am and Feohanagh Church at 11.30am. There will be confessions in both churches before mass.
Seven Steps: The next seven steps meeting will be held in Feohanagh sacristy on Monday 7th October at 7.30pm. All interested in taking part are welcome to attend.
Epilepsy Ireland: On this weekend October 5th/6th the church gate collection will take place in Feohanagh and Castlemahon in aid of Epilepsy Ireland. This association provide counselling, information and educational program for all people with epilepsy and your support as always will be greatly appriciated.
October devotions: There will be rosary and benediction in Castlemahon church on Friday nights at 7.30pm and in Feohanagh church on Wednesday nights at 7.30pm for the month of October. All are very welcome.
Jean Anne benefit dance: A benefit dance organised by flag floor committee in aid of the Jean Anne Fund will take place at Rathkeale house hotel, October 4th at 9.00pm. Music on the night my Maura and Donie Nolan and friends. Jean Anne Sheehy is partner of Declan Lenihan Feohanagh and your support will be greatly appriciated. Admission is €10 and all are welcome to attend.
Castlemahon History Group: Preparations are continuing for this year’s parish annual and meetings will continue this Wednesday night at 8.30pm in Castlemahon Parish Hall, All interested in submitting articles and new members are welcome to attend.
Sympathy: The death took place on Saturday 21st Sept at his residence Kilready Castlemahon of Patrick Collum (Pattie). Sympathy to his brother Donie, Sister Joan and Niece Sophie and the Collum Families in Castlemahon, Ardrine and Ballinakill and also to the Scully family Ballinakill.

ICA: Teresa Stack of Nutri fit Newcastle West was guest speaker at the meeting on September 23rd. She stressed the importance of good nutrition and exercise as a factor to good health. Her premises are in station road, Newcastle West, a big welcome is extended to all her customers. The president extended a céad míle failte to a new member, Rita King, May she enjoy the activities of the guild. Some members attended the federation meting on September 25th at the woodlands house hotel. The raffle was won by Ann Lynch.
