First Holy communion: Thirty-eight children attending St John’s NS received their first Holy Communion in Cratloe. Well done to all.

Happy Birthday: Best wishes are extended to Gerry Considine who celebrated his seventh birthday on Saturday night. A native of Killmihill, Gerry has made a major contribution to Cratloe community since he settled here 40 years ago. His brother Frank made the trip from America for the occasion.

Pony jumping: Thirteen year old Conor McMahon from Cratloe qualified for the RDS All-Ireland final when his pony Clona Prince won the qualifier in Cavan Equestrian Centre last week.

School Choir: Pupils from Cratloe NS will perform in the Lime Tree Theatre this Thursday night at 8pm as part of the National School Choir competition.

Recent Death: Sympathy is extended to Austin Hannon, manager of Dairygold on the death of his mother in Truagh.
