COMMUNITY ALERT: following a meeting on the 1st May it has been decided to set up a text alert system in the Kilteely/Dromkeen area. The purpose is to give people in the community the opportunity to be actively involved in reducing the risk of theft and burglaries in the locality and particularly protecting our elderly neighbours. It allows the Gardai to issue text alerts to any members of the community who is registered on the system. If you are interested in being involved registration forms and information leaflets are available at Kilteely church, Dromkeen post office, Aherna shop in Kilteely, community office notice board, Dromkern Stores or contact Larry O’Grady at 086 8604099 or Mike O’Connell at 087 9481557. All forms & monies to be returned to Community Office or Mike O’Connell & Larry O’Grady.
