THANK YOU: The organisers of the Annual Cancer Society Church Gate Collection wish to sincerely thank all who contributed so generously last Sunday. Almost 300 euro was collected. Your donations will assist with Cancer research as well as providing support to patients and their families.

IRISH DANCING SUCCESS: Congratulations to our local girls from the Bennis School of Irish Dancing who claimed second place in the under 13 six hand reel competition at the National Irish Dancing finals in Citywest Conference Centre in Dublin today (Sunday 12th). There was intense competition with sixteen groups from across Ireland North and South taking part in the National Finals. The six hand group were: Isobel Heffernan, Megan O’Byrne, Sarah Gilmartin, Eimear Mahon, Taylor O’Curry and Fiona Gleeson. Congratulations also to the 4 Hand and 8 hand Under 11 groups who both came fifth in their competitions. A special thank you to Muirne Bennis for her coaching and preparation of the girls.

CRECORA-PATRICKSWELL COMMUNITY GAMES: Annual Athletics Day takes place in Crecora GAA Pitch next Sunday 19th May at 3pm. There will be the usual Athletics and Fun events for age groups from U6 to U16. Qualifiers will go on to county finals. This is always a great day out, and any boy or girl from the Crecora-Patrickswell catchment area is very welcome to compete.

LIMERICK RACECOURSE: will host a Fashion Extravaganza in aid of Pieta House during their Race Meeting on Sunday 19th of May. Following on the success of the Limerick Fashion Quarter, event last year we are delighted to welcome back these stylist boutiques to the Panoramic Restaurant to display the summer 2013 range. Funds raised on the day shall be donated to Pieta House, who provides vital services in Limerick. First race is at 2.30pm, with the Fashion show between races. A best dressed lady competition & a host of fantastic spot prizes to be won.

CRECORA APOSTOLIC WORKERS: Annual Display of work for Missionaries abroad, will take place on Sunday 26th May, 2013 at 10.30 a.m. in Crecora Church. Your support is very much appreciated.
