OOLA GAA: Limerick Development Draw for 2013 starts on the 8th of March. Any members wanting to join the draw please contact any member of the club committee. Cost is €10.00 per month or €100.00 for the year.

Patricks Day Annual Family Run & Walk: Cards are now available for the annual St Patrick’s Day Family Fun Run/Walk and bar-b-que.
Greyhound racing: Oola GAA Club’s dog Tambourine Man won his heat in the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial Puppy Stake in Limerick Greyhound Stadium on Saturday night and runs in the second round on Saturday night. Discounted tickets for Saturday night can be obtained from Pius O’Grady, Kathleen Ryan or Peter Gardiner.
Mayor of Oola: A Mayor of Oola election will be held in conjunction with the Oola Parish Gathering on 20/21 July. Clubs/organisations in the parish wishing to nominate a participant in the election are invited to attend a meeting in the Community Centre next Friday at 8pm.
Bord na nÓg: Registration for the 2013 season is currently underway. This year all players must wear Gum Shields while training and playing matches. Players can purchase a gum shield in conjunction with membership for the year, the cost is €10. If players don’t request a gum shield, cost is €5. Membership forms are available on request.
Awards: Finally, congratulations to Willie O’Mahoney and Gerry Mansfield who will be honoured at Saturday nights East Limerick Gaels function.
