I REALLY cannot wait for this year’s Butterfly Ball which takes place on Saturday, October 3 at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa on the Ennis
Road.

The Mid-Western Cancer Foundation’s Butterfly Ball is considered one of the most high-profile events of the Mid-West area’s social calendar. This year has been difficult from a financial point of view for everybody personally and professionally and this continues to be true for the HSE where funding and resources
remain restricted.

The foundation continues to receive considerable donations from those individuals who have been treated in the centre and also their families and friends who have been affected by their experience.

The presence of the Mid-Western Cancer Centre has enabled the majority of patients to be treated locally thus remaining at home with support from family, friends and health professionals within
the region.

I really hope that everyone gets behind the event this year - it really is one of the most worthwhile causes you can support.

Tickets are €90 per person which includes a champagne reception with the Dolmen String quartet, four course meal, complimentary professional photography from Michael Martin Photographers, gift bags from Lorraine O’Connell at No15, special entertainment by Las Vegas Casino with HIYA Events featuring Elvis Presley and DJ James Sexton. There is also a raffle on the night with great spot prizes.

Tickets are available from the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation office at the Cancer Information & Support Centre. Tel: 061- 210979 or info@mwcf.ie or www.mwcf.ie
