The bridal dresses at Fashion Friday in Limerick city during Riverfest were simply divine!
WHAT a fantastic weekend we just had in lovely Limerick! Riverfest has now established itself as one of the leading festival weekends in Ireland, and, as the organisers said, there really is something for everyone.

Who could resist the tempting barbecue which has now established itself as one of the biggest in Europe? And what about the fireworks display which drew huge crowds to the banks of the River Shannon.

Then there was the spectacular Great Limerick Run which attracted 12,000 entrants from all over Ireland and abroad to our great city. Some of the new additions to the festival including Wired and Free and the performance by Sharon Shannon which took place in Arthurs Quay attracted massive crowds.

The highlight for me, of course, was Fashion Friday, which took some fabulous fashion into the heart of Limerick city and showcased to the huge crowds what a great fashion city we are. Congratulations to everyone involved. Roll on next year’s Riverfest.
