SOCCER: Munster Junior Cup 1st Round- Galbally United 1-3 Glengoole United. A good performance from Galbally that on other days may have been enough to secure a win. We started well and created all the early chances but were undone just before half time conceeding two goals in quick succession. A third deflected goal gave Glengoole a three nil lead on sixty minutes but we battled back and were unlucky not to add to Pa O Donnell’s goal in the dying minutes. Best for Galbally were Paul Bourke and Bob Healy. Team : M Thorpey, P Bourke, E Halligan, C Henebry, B Healy, T Davern, R Slattery, P Murphy, V O Connell, Q Perry, A Sheahan. Subs : P O Donnell, D Sheedy, D Cussen
