CAREBRIGHT FUN-RUN, JOG, WALK - FUNDRAISER: CareBright formerly RCCN who provide Carers in the Community are having a 7 km Fun-Run, Jog or Walk on Bank Holiday Monday October 28 commencing at 2.30pm from Cill Bhride, Kilteely. This event is for 2 of our Carers who are seriously ill and undergoing treatment. Staff of CareBright have sponsorship cards or alternatively you can support the event by joining us on the day to walk, jog or run €10 for runners and €5 to walk. SARSFIELD LADIES FOOTBALL CLUB: The Club will play Ahane on 12th of October in Junior Novice Final, date and time to be confirmed, please keep an eye on our facebook page for details. The Club will also be holding a Fr Ted Disco on 19th October in Aherns Bar, on the night there will be a Lovely Ladies Competition, prizes for the best dressed Fr Ted, Fr Jack, Fr Dougal or Mrs Doyle & Raffle. Admission €5. Guaranteed to be a great night.

RAMBLING HOUSE: Please note that The Teach Rambling House will not now be held on the Second Friday of each month. New dates will shortly be arranged. We will keep you posted on The Limerick Leader Notes. The next Rambling House will be held on Friday November 1st., 9 to 11p.m. All are welcome.

BASIC COMPUTER TRAINING: Are you a member of the Farming Community how would like to improve your Computer Skills. Would you like to be able to use Done Deal, Register your Calf’s on Line, Send and receive e-mails. Then sign up for our Basic Computer Training. The training will run for four weeks. Course Costs €20. Classes willdour take place in Cill Bhride, Kilteely commencing Thursday, 31st October from 7.30pm-9.30pm. Places are limited. Contact Monica on 061-450074.

ST AILBES MAIGUE: A meeting will take place on Tuesday October 15 in Cill Bhride from 7.30pm – 9pm. It is hoped a good crowd will attend.

SCOUTING IRELAND: An information night about the formation of a new Scout Group in Cappamore, Pallas Green & surrounding areas will take place on Monday 14th Oct’13 from 8.00pm to 9.00pm in The Community Centre, Cappamore. The meeting is for those who might be interested in assisting with the establishment of the Group as well as parents who would like their children to be involved in the fun, adventure and challenge of Scouting. We have an initial group of people in place to get things started, and they will explain on the night what is planned. Please note that this meeting is for adults only. KNOCKAINEY LADIES CLUB: are pleased to announce for their next meeting on Monday October 21st renowned chef Carole Dollery form TV series “The Restaurant”, will do a cookery demonstration. This will surely be a night not to be missed.

KNOCKAINEY AFTERNOON TEA DANCE: will return on Sunday October 13 at 3pm with Eddie Keogh. All are welcome to come along to an evening of music, dance and home baked refreshments in Knockainey Community Centre. Look forward to meeting all our friends and perhaps a few new ones as well. Admission €5. Raffle on the evening.
