KILCORNAN NATIONAL SCHOOL PARENTS COUNCIL ANNUAL WALK: The Parents council would like to thank the 21 walkers (parents and teachers) that participated in our walk last Sunday morning to Curraghchase. We had beautiful weather and everyone walked at their own pace and the distance they were comfortable with. Everyone got to chat and have a laugh.

We finished our walk with delicious scones/tea/coffee and refreshments at the Coach Inn free of charge from Ann and Maureen. The food was so good we all wanted seconds and the pounds that had been lost on the walk we’re sure had returned within no time with those fresh homemade scones and jam, and fresh cream. Thanks to all the staff in the Coach Inn that looked after us so well. It was lovely to be able to sit, chat and have a catch up with everyone afterwards.

We would like to express our greatest appreciation to all those who supplied us with spot prizes for our raffle that morning. Curraghchase Garden Centre, Eilis Griffin, Eternal Beauty Salon Dooradoyle, Crocs Hair Salon Clarina, Marian O’Callaghan, Hazel O’Callaghan, Downes Family, Grace Flynn, and O’Shea’s shop Pallaskenry.

Money raised on the day €265, if anyone that was not able to attend on the day would like to contribute towards the fund, you could give it to Lorraine or any Parents Council Committee member. Thanks again for all your support throughout the year.

The next Parents Council Meeting will be the 11th of June, this meeting will also be part EGM to propose Parents Council Constitution. 7.00pm in the Community Centre. All welcome.
