Illustrated History of Limerick Diocese: A beautiful Book written by Liam Irwin giving a history of the Diocese of Limerick and of all the parishes is on sale in the Sacristy at €20.00 each.

Dóchas (Hope for people with Autism): Would like to thank all the people of the Parish who contributed to their Collection last weekend. Amount raised €697.21.

Exercises for Active Older Adults: Osteofit – Exercise for strong bones and good balance. Osteofit classes restarted on 15th January in Monaleen GAA Hall at 2.00pm. The class is aimed at healthy independent active older adults. It involves a warm up, followed by exercises to help prevent falls and improve balance, strength, posture and bone density as well as some flexibility and relaxation. There is no commitment from you. You can come along whenever you can. Find out more on You are invited to a complimentary first class and then the cost is €8.00 per session. Regulars and newcomers always welcome.

Castletroy Comhaltas: Branch classes have resumed every Thursday evening in the Don Bosco Centre behind Milford Church. Classes in musical instruments, singing and dancing. For more info call Majella on 086-8946360.

Set Dancing Classes: Have resumed after the Christmas break in the Clubhouse, Thursdays, 7.30pm to 9pm. All are welcome and a great evening promised. €7 per person.

G.A.A. Notes: MONSTER TABLE QUIZ: In aid of the Players Injury Fund will take place on Friday February 7 in the Clubhouse at 8.30pm. Tables of 4. Each adult player is encouraged to submit a team at €40 per table. Contact Bernard O’Carroll for details, 087 9372604.

LOTTO: The jackpot reverted to €3000 last week, following the big win of the week before. There was no winner this week; numbers drawn were 14, 18, 20 and 31. Our Lotto volunteers will be out in force soon signing up for our upcoming lotto season. Please support us as your support is vital to the development of the club.

CEILI: In Monaleen GAA Clubhouse on Saturday 1st February. Dancing from 8.30pm till late. All are welcome.

Family Support Programme: For those affected by someone else’s drug/alcohol/gambling addiction or abuse, free each Thursday, 8 – 9.30m in the Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Denmark Street. No booking required, just drop in.
