SCOIL NAOMH IOSAF ENROLMENT: Scoil Naomh Iosaf, Adare Boys National School will hold an enrolment week at the school from Monday 10th to Friday February 14 from 2.15 to 3pm each day. Parents who are interested in enrolling their son in September 2014 are welcome.

ADARE ACTIVE RETIREMENT: Adare Active Retirement will hold Bowling every Tuesday from 3pm to 5pm at Embury Close Hall, Dr Edward Sordillo Chiropractor on January 30, Rev Dr Heather Morris President of the Methodist Association of Ireland February 13, Bingo February 20 and the AGM will be held on March 6. All events will take place at Embury Close Hall at 7.30pm .
ADARE PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP: Adare Mother and Toddler Group is held in the upstairs room in the Heritage Centre. They meet at 10.15 until 12.15. They would like to issue a special invitation to all parents of children from 0-5 to come and join us on Friday mornings.
ADARE RED CROSS: Adare Red Cross would like to thank the teachers and pupils of Shountrade School for their generous contribution of firelogs at Christmas. These will be distributed during the winter.

Applications are invited from eligible persons, who are in need of housing and approved by the local Housing Authority. KNOCKFIERNA HERITAGE SOCIETY: On Saturday next 1February, Minister for Arts, Culture & Gaeltacht, Jimmy Deenehan will visit Knockfierna at 2.30pm. Mr. Deenehan will launch a guide brochure of Knockfierna which shows famine roads and potato ridges which are still intact since the famine of 1847. All are welcome for this very unique occasion. The afternoon will be followed by entertainment at the Rambling House. All are welcome.
‘THE HONEY SPIKE’ IN GRANAGH: ‘The Honey Spike’ by Bryan MacMahon will take place in the Community Centre, Granagh, 8pm nightly on January 31 and February 1 and 2. Shop and Raffle each night. Admission. Adults €10, Students €5.
