Colmanswell Rambling House: The next session of the Rambling House takes place on Friday night, January 31st at 8:30pm. John Flanagan, Effin and his support group and the Dunworth family, Croom will be performing on the night. They are a group of young entertainers, who are a treat to listen to. Many other entertainers will also be performing, all of which will make a great night. All are welcome!
Social: The local active retirement club held their Christmas social at Debert House, Kilmallock recently. Their friends from Kilmallock, Bruree, Athlacca, Feenagh, Kilmeedy and all members from Castletown-Colmanswell and Ballyagran were there.Margaret and her staff from Debert, produced a beautiful meal to one and all, followed by tea and coffee and everyones favourite, mince pies. A monster raffle took place after the meal. Then the tables were cleared and the crowd took to the floor, dancing all afternoon to the music of James O’Callaghan, Seán O’Gorman and Timmie Cagney gave some neciations which were enjoyed by the crowd. The Chairperson thanked Margaret and her staff for the lovely meal on the day. Also, thanks to everyone who brought gifts for the raffle and sincere thanks to Canon. Fitzmaurice, Fr. Cussen and Fr. Shire for attending on the day. Thanks to our faithful musician James O’Callaghan and bus driver Timmie Cagney. Last but not least, thanks to all friends from the other clubs for coming along on the day.
AGM: Castletown-Ballyagran-Colmanswell Active Retired Club will hold their AGM in the hall, Ballyagran on Monday night, February 10th at 7.30pm
