Loughill/Ballyhahill Community Text Alert : Loughill/Ballyhahill Community Text Alert had their photo shoot at Loughill Resource Centre last Saturday for the handing over of our new road signs. These signs have been erected around the parish over the last week. They were kindly donated by “Munster Security Intruder Alarm Systems in Limerick”. We would like to say a big thank you to Mr. Robert Bedford MD of Munster Security Alarms Systems. Mass Times: Mass will be celebrated in Loughill Church this week Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings at 6.00 p.m.

Mass will be celebrated in Ballyhahill Church this week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings at 9.00 a.m. and Sunday morning at 10.00 a.m.

County Limerick Community and Voluntary Forum: County Limerick community and voluntary forum are hosting an information afternoon at the Day Care Centre in Abbeyfeale on Thursday November 28 from 2.00 to 4.00 pm. County Limerick community and voluntary forum is the representative voice of the active community and voluntary sector in the county at decision making level. Speakers include Denis Joy, Abbeyfeale Fire Station Officer, Muintir Na Tire’s James O’Neill and solicitor Orla Dennison. There will also be a crime prevention officer available to answer questions on how to stay safe. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be served. Fire alarms for the elderly will be available free of charge. All those over the age of 55 are invited from the West Limerick area. For further information please ring 087/6866450.

The Story of Lourdes: Everybody is invited to the launch of “Come and See The Story of Lourdes” by Canon Michael Liston on Monday next November 25th. by Bishop Brendan Leahy in Mary Immaculate College in Limerick. This launch takes place in the forum which you can enter by Courtbrack Gate in Ashbourne Avenue opposite Scott’s Bar. Signing will take place from 6.45 p.m. and the launch will be at 7.15 p.m. Light refreshments will be served at 7.45 p.m. All proceeds will go to the Limerick Lourdes invalid fund.

Money Skills for Life: The National Consumer Agency will be holding two “Money Skills for Life” workshops in West Limerick this Wednesday November 20th. Session one will take place at 11.30 a.m. in the Courtenay Lodge Hotel Newcastle West with a second session at 2.00 p.m. in the Rathkeale House Hotel Rathkeale. Topics include sorting out your money, saving and investing, borrowing money and dealing with debt. These workshops are an hour long and are free but places are limited. Rosary in Loughill Graveyard: The Rosary will be recited in Loughill graveyard this Sunday November 24th at 3.00 p.m. for the holy souls. This will be our last Sunday for this year. The crowds have been very faithful to the rosary every Sunday so far this year so a big thank you to everyone for keeping up this great tradition.

Breast Cancer Awareness: We are having a Pink evening in the hall in Ballyhahill this Friday night 22nd. November ay 8.30. We will have table quiz, raffle, party games and food. Tickets €10 each. Table Quiz: A very successful Table quiz for Gerald Griffin National School in Loughill took place last Sunday in the Anglers Rest.

Fundraising Ceili: WL102 FM will hold a Ceilí in Knockaderry Community Centre this Friday night November 22nd. at 9.30 p.m. Music by Donie Nolan. Tea and Coffee served.
