SUPERGRASS fontman Gaz Coombes is to play a special solo show in Dolan’s Warehouse.
The rocker will play in Limerick on Friday, May 8, with tickets on sale now.
The Supergrass frontman or Gareth Michael ‘Gaz’ Coombes, to give him his full title, is touring in support of his second solo album, Matador, which charted in the top 20 in the UK charts on its release in January.
Coombes has gone from flashily whiskered pop tearaway to Ivor Novello and BRIT award winning rock star to soundtracking the summer, racking up ten Top 20 hits and six Top 20 albums with Supergrass.
He has also gone through his fair share of upheaval - “self-doubt, personal loss and drug-induced tour psychosis” according to the press material - all of which he has poured into the new album.
He plays Dolan’s on May 8, tickets on sale now.
