LIMROCK returns home from the American Mid-West this week, as musician Nick Carswell brings his brand new project home for a tour.
Carswell & Hope is the new iteration for the Limerick multi- instrumentalist, who has teamed up with three superb US musicians in his adopted home for the last three years of Kansas.
The band return to these shores for an extensive Irish tour, that includes a hometown date for Carswell in Dolan’s Warehouse this Saturday night.
The tour is in support of the excellent debut album, titled A Hunger, which Carswell & Hope have just released.
Nick will be well known from his days on the local music scene with the Elective Orchestra, some of whom will join him on stage in Dolan’s this Saturday night, and the Brad Pitt Light Orchestra - a ‘lite’ version of whom will also perform at the gig this weekend.
Also included on a packed bill are the excellent Moley - Michael O’Suilleabhain - and the Latin-by way of Clare infused Los Paddys de las Pampas.
A truly packed line-up and all for just €10 on the door. Enjoy!
