IRISH crooner Red Hurley will be joined by Limerick Gospel Choir for a concert in the Lime Tree Theatre this Friday night.
Hurley - who marked 40 years in show business in 2010 - was king of Ireland’s pop music scene in the 70s and early 80s and has been enjoying a career resurgence both in Ireland and the USA of late and is considered one of the finest interpreters of popular song with a vocal ability which is hard to match.
Limerick Gospel Choir have the honour of being special guests to the singer at the Lime Tree show this Friday, June 12.
The choir, in existence for the last 12 years, recently supported the Harlem Gospel choir and performed for City of Culture last year.
