EVEN though Christmas is still more than three months away, the Milk Market has put out a call for choirs.

David O’Brien, the manager of the Milk Market wants to see Christmas Choirs to add to the magic of their seasonal market, which runs for several days between November 30 and Christmas Eve.

He said: “We already have some signed up, but would love to hear from others. The Milk Market is now all-weather and so choirs, like our Christmas shoppers, will be spared from the elements. It is a perfect opportunity for amateur and school choirs to come along and sing Christmas Carols and other seasonal favourites for an hour or so, on any one or more days agreed.”

Any contributions choirs collect during that day will be given to their designated charity.”

Around 60,000 people are expected at the Christmas Market.
