LIMERICK Macra clubs are putting on their version of Eurovision this weekend called Macravision.

It takes place at 8pm this Saturday, October 5 in the Greenhills Hotel. Keith Hanley, winner of The Voice of Ireland 2013, will not only be judging this year’s acts but will also perform. Claire Holland, Limerick Macra PRO, says the titles up for grabs are the best group, individual and best dressed act.

“This year we have changed the format of the competition slightly as we have added two categories - the best impromptu act and the best air guitar impression. The winners of these categories will be decided by the audience.

“There is a prize for best dressed audience member, so why not come dressed as your favourite pop star. After the singing there will be a party until the early hours of Sunday morning. Don’t miss this golden opportunity to take centre stage and release your inner Miley Cyrus or Simon Cowell,” said Claire.

You don’t have to be part of Macra to join in the fun, so if interested please contact Eugene at 087-6558731 or email limerickmacra@gmail.com for more information.

All are welcome to come along and enjoy the fun.
