Which one of these sexy Limerick men tickles your fancy?
Niall Colgan
Trendy hairdresser and DJ Niall Colgan this week just officially opened his new hair salon on O'Callaghan Strand and is riding tall in the face of the recession. He is a proud Limerick man, and his fans mention his goatee and unique ear piercings as part of his sex appeal.
Liam Dwan
Stylish Liam sends the pulses of Limerick fashionistas racing as he dashes about the Brown Thomas department store. Liam, who is happily married to Siobhan, epitomises style and panache.
Paul Hogan
NOT the star of the famous Crocodile Dundee movies, rather this dashing car salesman and Garryowen flanker has driven Limerick ladies wild with his dark brooding looks and strong physique. Accomplished rugby player Paul also got one Irish cap when he against France in Paris back in 1992.
Andy Lee
THE Daly's Cross southpaw has a win record of 18 victories from 19 fights, making him one of the most sought after middle-weight boxers in the world. Currently based in Detroit, fighting out of the Kroak gym, this unassuming 25-year-old is a huge hit among his female fans, his boyish looks ensuring he is a contender to land the knock-out blow and scoop the number one spot among Limerick's sexiest men.
Emmett O'Brien
THIS 30-year-old barrister is one of the youngest members of the Bar Council serving out of Limerick. He was listed as a possible runner for Fianna Fail in last June's local elections. A past pupil of UCC, this dashing legal eagle is a keen athlete and plays GAA with his native Pallaskenry.
Tom O'Donnell
Judge Tom O'Donnell isn't as popular with the criminal fraternity as he is with the ladies. Women like men with power and Limerick's District Court judge knows how to keep order in the court. When Judge O'Donnell is not dishing out justice in the courtroom, he can be seen running around the streets of the city. He certainly is a marathon man.
Shane O'Neill
Top model Michelle Meaney is the lucky lady on the arm of the dashing Shane O'Neill. The tall Na Piarsaigh clubman and former Limerick hurler will marry his long term beau in Italy in September. He works with Sweeney McGann solicitors.
Alan Quinlan
'Quinny', as this Munster rugby hero is better known, may be technically from Tipperary but Limerick has long since claimed him as one of our own and he is a stalwart of the Shannon club as well as a resident of Newtown, Annacotty – where he's a near neighbour of another of Paul O'Connell (voted No 12 last week). Alan is also viewed as one of the finest spoilers in the game – on and off the field. He recently became a proud dad to baby AJ.
Jerry Relihan
One of Limerick city's best known businessmen, Jerry is proprietor of JRs in the City on Thomas Street. He had a popular outlet in the Crescent Shopping Centre for years and is well known to legions of Limerick shoppers. Jerry's easygoing charm and silver curls are all part of his sexiness, say his admirers.
David Wallace
David "Wallace's toned physique is well known to female readers at this stage, thanks to the stunning Daniel Craig-esque photograph taken of him emerging from the sea on a beach during the Lions tour. Front-page newspaper appearances and much discussion on national radio ensued, but this distracts from the fact that the former Crescent College Comprehensive Senior Cup-winning captain is considered one of the finest wing forwards in world rugby!
