Man appears in court following County Limerick drugs seizure

A TWENTY-four year old man has been charged in connection with a substantial drug seizure in County Limerick at the weekend.

Michael O’Neill of Ballyvauden, Kilteely appeared before Limerick Court yesterday afternoon after he was charged with possession of cannabis resin for the purpose of sale or supply.

€60,000 worth of the drug and €90,000 worth of speed was seized during a raid on a house in Kilteely on Sunday.

O’Neill was granted bail by Judge Eamon O’Brien and he is due to appear before the court again on March 2 next.
