Injured woman found on Limerick road
A WOMAN has been hospitalised after she was found with injuries lying on the Kilmallock Road early this morning.
Gardai at Roxboro station say the woman, whose in her teens, was found by a passer-by at around 7am.
The young girl, who is from the southside of Limerick, was taken by ambulance to the Mid Western Regional Hospital where she is being treated for her injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.
Gardai say they are investigating all of the circumstances of the incident and that they have yet to establish how the woman was injured.
