Dell:Remaining Limerick jobs are secure
**EXCLUSIVE** DELL's most senior figure in Europe has said the 1,000 remaining jobs at the firm's plant in Raheen are safe.
Sean Corkery, Dell's European chief has told the Limerick Leader the Texan computer giant "intends to remain" one of the largest employers in the city.
And in a meeting with Mayor Kevin Kiely, Mr Corkery confirmed the company's intention to keep the jobs, which are mainly research and development based, at its massive campus in Raheen.
The news represents a massive boost for Limerick - as many were expecting Dell to quit the city completely following the loss of 1,900 manufacturing jobs to Poland in January.
