Man arrested in connection with County Limerick aggravated burglary

GARDAI arrested a man in Cappamore this Monday morning in connection with an aggravated burglary in Pallasgreen in May.

Bruff gardai arrested the man, believed to be 30 years of age, at 8am this Monday morning. He is being questioned at Bruff garda station in relation to an aggravated burglary that took place at the home of the Creed family on May 31.

Seventy-four year old Willie Creed and his sisters, Nora 72, and Chrisse, 66, were assaulted and tied up in their home in Ballyluddy, Pallasgreen by two masked men. The man is being detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be held for up to seven days.

This is the third male to be arrested in connection with the incident - two have been charged.
