GARDAI investigating the murders of Des Kelly and Breda Waters in January have arrested five people are part of their ongoing inquiries.

GARDAI investigating the murders of Des Kelly and Breda Waters in January have arrested five people are part of their ongoing inquiries.

Two men, two women and a teenage boy were arrested during a pre-planned operation this morning.

All five are currently being detained at Roxboro Road, Henry Street, Mayorstone and Bruff Garda Stations under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939.

Two men are already before the courts charged with murdering Ms Waters, 28, and Mr Kelly,24, who were shot dead at a house in O’Malley Park, Southill on January 8, last.
