A search is underway for LIT student Steven Kavanagh (21) who has not been seen since 2.30am on Thursday
Searches are continuing on the Limerick-Clare border for a LIT student who has not been seen since the early hours of yesterday morning.

Searches are continuing on the Limerick-Clare border for a LIT student who has not been seen since the early hours of yesterday morning.

Volunteers from Killaloe Coast Guard, Limerick Search and Rescue and gardaí are conducting a land and water search for Steven Kavanagh (21) from Clonlara who has not been seen since 2.30am on Thursday.

Steven is described as being five foot ten inches tall with tight, brown hair and a slight build.

When last seen he was wearing blue jeans a blue Limerick FC jacket and black runners.

Friends and relatives of his are assisting in the search and a campaign has also been launched on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter,
