The new manager of Limerick city and county has offered his support for the Going for Gold Campaign.

Conn Murray who was recently appointed to the new managerial position is the first ever person to act as manager of two separate local authorities.

Mr Murray said that the Going for Gold campaign, which got underway last month, is a fantastic initiative and praised all those who have taken part so far.

“Going for Gold’s aspiration to make Limerick a cleaner, brighter place to live, work and visit is worthy of support. I would like to thank all the sponsors and supporters of this campaign particularly the JP McManus Charitable Foundation.”
