GARDAI have confirmed that a 16-year-old girl from Limerick city who had been missing for more than a week has been located.

GARDAI have confirmed that a 16-year-old girl from Limerick city who had been missing for more than a week has been located.

Alisa Apine from Corbally, who had not been seen since January 17, was located in County Mayo yesterday afternoon following a national garda appeal for information on her whereabouts.

In a brief statement issued this afternoon the Garda Press Office confirmed Alisa was “safe and well” and a spokesman thanked members of the public for their assistance.
